Introductory Essay

My name is Edgar Emmanuel Garcia Ruiz. I was born in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes in 1988, October 25^th. I have only one brother who is 16 years old. I lived all my life in Mechoacanejo, Jalisco until I went to high school when I was 16 years old. I moved to Teocaltiche Jalisco and I spent 3 years living there. When I finished high school I took 2 years off. When I decided to study in the University, I had to move to Aguascalientes, my current place to live. I like sports and a healthy life. I really enjoy swimming sport. I also play the trombone in two bands. I have been playing the trombone since I was thirteen years old. Besides sports, music is one of my favorite things.

I started my education in the kindergarten. I spent 4 years there. After kindergarten I went to primary school which was one of my favorite places. I met some of my best friends in life. Secondary school was very important for me too. I started to get into the music world. I was in the band of the school, and I reached the manager charge of the band. High school was kind of difficult to me because I had to move to Teocaltiche city and make new friends. It was difficult just at the beginning because later on I enjoyed a little bit my time there.

Currently I am living in Aguascalientes. Since I decided to study college, I had to look for a place to live because it would be so difficult to move from my hometown to Aguascalientes everyday. Here in Aguascalientes I live alone. I am studying in the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes (UAA) the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Teaching. When I entered to the University I was asked about belonging to the Ensamble Real de Jovenes Universitarios, which is the Orchestra of the UAA. Another important aspect about living and studying in Aguascalientes was my favorite sports. As the university has a professional swimming pool I am delighted with it.

In the future I would like to be an English teacher, and I am working hard to get it. I am in the third semester of eight of the B. A. in English Language Teaching. I would like to continue in the UAA’s Orchestra, it is very helpful and interesting for me, and I will study music all my life. I would like to live in some other country that is not Mexico. I would like to get to know several countries. I am very interested on other cultures besides mine, so it is a good option to think about to it when I finish my studies.

I spent all my life living in Jalisco. I passed all my education there and I reached some achievements. I am experimenting about living in other place which is not my home. Now in my life I am studying which is going to be my entire life employee, I really want to be successful on it and to achieve all the goals that I want to achieve. I like to practice sport, specially swimming which keeps me healthy and strong. I would like to practice swimming my entire life. In the music world I have reached some of my dreams but the best part is coming.
